Life insurance

Do you have life insurance? Ask yourself what would
your children do if something happened to you? Would
they be able to financially make it? How would they
be able to pay off any debts that you would leave behind?
Do you want your kids to go to college when they are
older, how would they do that? These are all questions
that as parents we have to think about alot. My parents
don't have anything like that. So us kids would not be
able to financially take care of their debts or even afford
to have a funeral for them. It's a good idea to start
looking into life insurance quotes, after all,
why should our kids suffer for our mess ups in life.

Acquire Experiences

Creating a simpler life makes you weigh your
values. Things can be wonderful, but they break,
wear out, and clutter your home. Life is precious
and fleeting, so value life and feed your spirit
by putting material things second. Invest in life
experiences such as education and self-improvement,
time with loved ones, and creating precious memories.

When you want some fun, seek adventure and an
experience of life. Check out a museum, visit an art
gallery, or attend a special community program. Invest
in education or travel that abroadens your perspective.
When you want to celebrate a special occasion with
a loved one, share a fun activity together.

Traveling Deals

I just spoke about traveling and vacationing
in a previous post. If your on a budget like
most of us are anymore but would still like
to get away and relax for a while, definetly
check out travel deals. The way the
economy is right now there is plenty of deals
going on so business don't have to close. Who
knows you might be able to get a vacation
you never thought you could afford.

Transform Your Relationship to Money

Simplify complex financial matters by transforming
your relationship to money. Instead of allowing
money to control you, learn to see it as a force you
can control. Respect money instead of fearing it.
Educate yourself about money matters: debt and
interest, savings, investing, budgets, spreadsheets,
taxes, and so forth. You'll make better decisions
when you understand how money works.

Part of choosing a simple lifestyle is learning to
make better decisions concerning money.
