Signs

One thing that I have noticed in so
many buildings is the exit sign.
In some buildings that you visit do
not have any of these signs. So what
do you do if there's a tornado or a
fire? If your not in that particular
building everyday how do you know where
to go? I would probably get lost and
start freaking out. But I thought
every building needed to have these
signs because of the city codes or
something.

Enjoy Good Conversation

Laughing and talking with good friends
energizes you. When the conversation is
flowing and everyone makes a witty or wise
contribution, people feel good. Celebrate
the fact that by simplifying your life
you've created room for more good times
with friends.

Make a positive contribution to the con-
versation. When negative comments or inap-
propriate language surfaces, turn the
conversation to more uplifting topics. Avoid
hurting anyone's feelings. Say nothing that
you would be ashamed to say. Make life
easier for yourself and others by encouraging
the positive over the negative in conversation.

Caring for loved ones

Do you have an elderly loved one at home
that you are taking care of? I took care
of my grandmother instead of her daughters
putting her in a nursing home. And when
it came time to get adult diapers it was
hard but it something everyone has to go
through before the last days. It was very
embarrassing for her but after explaining
to her that she needed to wear them instead
of loosing her bladder onto her self she
was okay with it. It's hard watching a loved
one go through that but it's life she always
reminded me of that.

Admit your errors

It takes a humble heart to admit that you
made a mistake. If you are challenged, your
first reaction might be to defend and explain
your position, or even deny that there is a
problem. But it's easier and simpler to admit
mistakes than to keep resisting a difficult
truth.

Others will usually forgive an honest error
and admire the person who is willing to admit
to making a mistake. Be willing to admit
your errors, look for ways to improve, and
move on. You'll save time and energy when you
do.
